Curl Hydration Spray — Weightless Curl Refresher

Ask Obia · Day‑three curls

Day‑three curls don’t need a wash. They need water.

Curl Hydration Spray puts water back where it’s needed, with glycerin to hold it in and a light touch of argan and rose oil so nothing sits on the strand. Mist, scrunch, let it dry. No rewetting, no buildup, no starting over.

Weightless curl revival — instant hydration, zero buildup Refresh without residue — detangles knots easily, locks in moisture, never sticky or heavy Science meets botanicals — argan oil absorbs instantly, rose oil softens strands, formulated at pH 4.5 For every curl type — 2C waves to 4C coils, refreshes protective styles, safe for color-treated hair
Refresh, don’t restart

This bottle is for the days between wash days.

Refreshing day‑three curls shouldn’t mean starting over. A few passes put water back where it’s needed, and the curl re‑forms as it dries. It works as a light, water‑based leave‑in too.

Reach for this bottle if…

  • Your curls are flat, fuzzy, or dry on day two or three
  • You wear braids, locs, twists, wigs or weaves and want moisture without the weight
  • You’re Type 2 waves through Type 4 coils — it won’t drag waves down or leave coils sticky
  • You want a leave‑in spray that’s protein‑free and coconut‑oil‑free

Reach for a richer leave‑in underneath if…

  • Hair still feels dry by day three — the fix is usually more sealant on wash day, not more spray
  • Your hair is very high porosity and loses water fast — layer Sweet Almond Heavy Cream under it

A refresher restores water. A leave‑in keeps it there. Most dry‑by‑Wednesday hair needs the second, then this bottle does the rest.

What's inside, and why it works

Water, held in place.

Purified water + vegetable glycerin

Water is the moisture. Glycerin is a humectant that holds it in the strand, so the refresh lasts past lunch.

Argan oil

Rich in oleic acid, which absorbs into the hair instead of leaving residue.

Rose flower oil

The oil from the petals, not rose water. A light softness, and the scent.

Vitamin E

An antioxidant that keeps the oils fresh in the bottle.

pH 4.5–5.5. The slightly acidic range where the cuticle lies flat. Tap water sits at 7 and lifts the cuticle; this brings it back down. FREE FROM mineral oil, petroleum, sulfates, parabens. No silicones. Vegan and cruelty‑free. Made in our own manufacturing space in Dallas.

Mist, scrunch, done

How to use it.

  1. Shake well. The oils settle between uses.
  2. Mist 4–6 inches from your hair. Enough to dampen, not soak.
  3. Scrunch or smooth with your palms. Re‑clump the curls, then let them dry.
  4. On wash day, mist each wet section first. Then your leave‑in: Curl Moisture Cream, or Twist Whip Butter for a twist‑out.

What to expect: curls soften and re‑form as they dry. If hair still feels dry by day three, the fix is usually a richer leave‑in underneath, like Sweet Almond Heavy Cream, not more spray.

Your curls get the final vote.

Great for natural curls!

Very hydrating and the scent was pleasant as well. It made my hair feel soft and smell amazing. It was very lightweight and didn't make my curls feel weighed down.

Questions, answered.

Will it make my hair sticky?

No. Glycerin holds water in the strand, and argan oil absorbs instead of coating, so there’s no residue and no buildup. If you ever feel tack, you’ve soaked instead of dampened — fewer passes next time.

Can I use it every day?

Yes. It’s water, glycerin and a light touch of oil. Daily refreshing is exactly what it’s for.

Does it work on braids, locs, twists and wigs?

Yes. It’s the easiest way to put moisture back into a protective style without weighing it down or leaving flakes.

Is it protein‑free and coconut‑oil‑free?

Both. No proteins, no coconut oil, so it’s safe for protein‑sensitive and coconut‑sensitive hair.

Is it a leave‑in?

A light, water‑based one. On wash day, mist each wet section before your cream or butter. For very dry or high‑porosity hair, pair it with a richer leave‑in underneath.

What does “pH balanced” mean here?

It’s a number, not a slogan. Hair and scalp sit at roughly 4.5–5.5. Plain water is 7, which lifts the cuticle every time you spritz. This spray is formulated at 4.5–5.5 and strip‑tested every batch, so a refresh doesn’t turn into frizz.

What’s it free from?

Mineral oil, petroleum, sulfates, parabens. No silicones, no proteins, no coconut oil. Vegan and cruelty‑free. Made in our own manufacturing space in Dallas.

How much is in the bottle?

8 fl oz / 236 mL, in a fine mist that goes a long way — dampen, don’t soak.
