The Wash Day Trio is the three steps most curls repeat every week, in one box: a protein-free deep conditioner, a water-based hydration mist, and a featherweight curl cream to seal it all in. All three are protein-free and pH-balanced at 4.5–5.5.

What's in the box

  • Babassu Deep Conditioner (8 oz / 226 g) — the heat-activated moisture treatment.
  • Curl Hydration Spray (8 fl oz / 236 mL) — water and glycerin to soak each section.
  • Curl Moisture Cream (8 oz / 226 g) — the featherweight leave-in that seals.

Three full sizes for $46.72, 15% less than buying them separately ($54.97).

Why it works

  • Deep condition: babassu seed oil melts close to body temperature, so it spreads and absorbs instead of sitting greasy on the strand. Avocado oil sinks into the shaft, and panthenol pulls water in and holds it, which keeps curls flexible instead of brittle.
  • Hydrate: water is the moisture; glycerin is a humectant that holds it in the strand. Argan and rose flower oils add a light softness.
  • Seal: the cream's plant-based conditioning emulsifier clings to the strand and lays the cuticle flat, while grape seed, argan and olive oils soften without weighing fine curls down.

Every step sits at pH 4.5–5.5, the slightly acidic range where the cuticle lies flat. And because none of the three contains protein, protein-sensitive hair comes out soft, not stiff.

How to use it

  1. Cleanse as usual — our Coconut Shea or Neem Tea Tree Shampoo Bar pairs well.
  2. Apply the Babassu Deep Conditioner generously and comb through root to tip.
  3. Cover with a plastic cap and add heat for 30 minutes. Rinse with cool water.
  4. Mist each wet section with Curl Hydration Spray — enough to dampen, not soak.
  5. Seal with Curl Moisture Cream: warm a quarter-sized amount between your palms and smooth it through each section. Don't rinse.

What to expect

Softer, easier-to-detangle hair on the first rinse. Give it three wash days to judge how long the moisture lasts. Frizz stays lowest when the cream goes onto soaking-wet hair, so judge the result once your hair is fully dry. Between wash days, a mist of Curl Hydration Spray refreshes.

Vegan and cruelty-free. Made without sulfates, parabens, mineral oil, or petroleum.

FREE standard shipping on U.S. orders of $50 or more. Under $50, standard shipping is a $7 flat rate. Afterpay is available at checkout if you'd like to split your payment into four interest-free installments.

All sales are final. If your order arrives damaged, email info@obianaturals.com within 5 business days and we'll make it right.

Deep condition. Hydrate. Seal.

The three steps every wash day comes down to.

Tap water sits at pH 7, and every wash day it lifts the cuticle. Who it's for

This set is the routine you already do.

After the cleanse, most wash days come down to three jobs: put water in, close the cuticle, hold it there. This box is those three jobs, the same full‑size products you'd buy one at a time, in one add‑to‑cart.

This set is for you if…

  • You already deep condition, mist and seal on wash day, and want all three in one add‑to‑cart
  • Your hair is anywhere from 3A curls to 4C coils
  • Your hair feels dry or rough, or snaps when you stretch a wet strand
  • Protein treatments leave your hair stiff or straw‑like. None of the three contains protein

Reach for something else if…

The 10‑second test: one wet strand, stretch. Snaps → moisture (this set). Sags → protein (the Mask). Bounces back → leave it alone.

What's inside, and why it works

One job each.

Babassu Deep Conditioner

Step 1, the heat step. Babassu seed oil melts close to body temperature, so it spreads and absorbs instead of sitting greasy on the strand. Avocado oil sinks into the shaft, and panthenol pulls water in and holds it. Cap on, heat for 30 minutes. 2018 NaturallyCurly Best of the Best. 8 oz / 226 g.

Curl Hydration Spray

Step 2, the water. Water is the moisture; glycerin is a humectant that holds it in the strand. Argan and rose flower oils add a light softness. Mist each wet section: enough to dampen, not soak. 8 fl oz / 236 mL.

Curl Moisture Cream

Step 3, the seal. A plant‑based conditioning emulsifier clings to the strand and lays the cuticle flat, while argan, olive and grape seed oils soften without weighing fine curls down. Featherweight, no rinse, pH 4.5–5.5. 8 oz / 226 g.

pH 4.5–5.5 on all three. The slightly acidic range where the cuticle lies flat. Tap water sits at 7 and lifts the cuticle on wash day; each step here brings it back down. FREE FROM mineral oil, petroleum, sulfates, parabens. No protein in any of the three. Vegan and cruelty‑free. Made in our own manufacturing space in Dallas.

Wash day, in order

How to use it.

  1. Cleanse as usual. The set starts after the shampoo. Our Coconut Shea or Neem Tea Tree Shampoo Bar pairs well.
  2. Deep condition. Apply the Babassu Deep Conditioner generously and comb it through root to tip.
  3. Cap and heat, 30 minutes. Plastic cap on, add heat for 30 minutes, then rinse with cool water.
  4. Mist in sections. Curl Hydration Spray on each wet section: enough to dampen, not soak.
  5. Seal with the cream. Warm a quarter‑sized amount of Curl Moisture Cream between your palms and smooth it through each section. Don't rinse.

What to expect: softer, easier‑to‑detangle hair on the first rinse. Give it three wash days to judge how long the moisture lasts. Ask Obia

Questions, answered.

What's in it, and what size is each?

Three products: Babassu Deep Conditioner (8 oz / 226 g), Curl Hydration Spray (8 fl oz / 236 mL), and Curl Moisture Cream (8 oz / 226 g).

What order do I use them in?

Deep condition first: apply Babassu Deep Conditioner, cover with a cap and add heat for 30 minutes, then rinse cool. Mist each wet section with Curl Hydration Spray. Finish by sealing with Curl Moisture Cream, no rinse.

Is the whole set protein‑free?

Yes. All three products are protein‑free, so protein‑sensitive curls come out soft, not stiff. All three are also pH‑balanced at 4.5–5.5.

Is there a variant to choose?

No. Every Wash Day Trio ships with the same three full‑size products.

Why isn't there a shampoo in it?

This set is the three steps after the cleanse. Add either shampoo bar: the Coconut Shea Shampoo Bar for a moisturizing cleanse, or the Neem Tea Tree Shampoo Bar for a clarifying one when your scalp is dry or carries buildup.

Is it cheaper than buying the three separately?

Yes. The set is $46.72, 15% less than the $54.97 the three cost on their own.

Who should skip it?

If a wet strand stretches, sags and doesn't bounce back, your hair is asking for protein, and none of these three has any. Reach for the Babassu Hair Therapy Mask or the Type 3 Moisture Bundle instead.

Will it work on low‑porosity hair?

Yes, with heat. A tight cuticle doesn't let conditioner in on its own, so sit under a steamer or heat cap for the 30 minutes. If you want the cleanse included, the Low Porosity Hair Bundle is built around the same deep conditioner.

Does Subscribe & Save cover it?

No. Subscribe & Save applies to single products, not bundles or gift cards. Each of the three items can be subscribed to individually.
